PRP Treatment

Individual Results May Vary

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy is the ideal treatment for patients who are experiencing hair loss. Our treatment clinic specializes in a variety of PRP treatments including PRP injections for hair loss and restoration.

Brief Introduction To PRP Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma replacement therapy uses a patient’s own cells to enrich the scalp and stimulate the hair follicles. The injection treatment process promotes healing and restoration of hair follicles directly. TCC PRP Treatment physicians collect each patient’s PRP from their blood. Our doctors remove the vital plasma from the blood and repurpose it later for hair loss treatment. The science behind PRP injections has been known for decades. Due to the success of plasma replacement therapy in the past, many medical procedures use this viable treatment plan. The reason for plasma’s success is the cell’s structure. Each platelet is comprised of vital elements that promote the body’s growth signals, specifically for healing and repair.

Why Choose PRP Treatment For Hair Loss

The inspiration for using plasma injection treatments for hair loss came from the success of using PRP in the medical world. Our platelet rich plasma clinic utilizes PRP injections to help patients who are experiencing thinning of their hair, reduced hairline, or growing bald patches. We offer PRP therapy to our patients as a proactive and therapeutic solution for a variety of treatments, such as hair loss and thinning hair. Each non-surgical PRP treatment session offers patients with a scientific way to approach the hair restoration process. By guiding a patient’s cells to target areas, our physicians can directly improve the microenvironment where hair follicles reside. The novel PRP treatment can be performed discreetly and within a few hours at our TCC Hair Loss Clinic.

Benefits Of PRP For Hair Loss

Patients that undergo plasma replacement therapy and PRP injections typically experience scalp stimulation. The entire PRP hair loss treatment is a quick procedure that improves hair growth over time. Physicians and medical staff at our TCC Hair Loss Clinic are able to specifically target troublesome areas that have not responded to therapy treatments in the past. Due to this key plasma replacement therapy technique, our physicians can efficiently improve target areas and place injections directly into the scalp where hair follicles may be inactive.

Potential Side Effects

PRP are extracted from a patient in a short duration of time. Our physicians will isolate the plasma and prep it for scalp injection. Although the entire process is swift, patients may notice slight discomfort during the injection process. Patients are first numbed in our office by the application of numbing cream to reduce discomfort. Patients are recommended to drink plenty of water and consume a healthy meal before each PRP treatment.
